Meet the Doctor

Dr. Craig Hediger practices a specialty within the profession called Applied Kinesiology. It is a balancing of the mind, body and structure to create the best environment for every individual.  Muscles working at their optimum keep the spine and joints supported.  Dr. Hediger turned to Applied Kinesiology because it answered his questions why conditions or symptoms return.  To compliment Applied Kinesiology Dr. Hediger became certified in Neuron Emotional Technique, which helps the body release negatively charged stressful responses that are stored in the body.  It’s fast and easy way to dramatically improve health.

Wasilla Chiropractic Clinic has been providing this “Whole Body” approach to their patients since 1985.  We provide state of the art physiotherapy and access to the best natural supplements on the market today.  We also have licensed massage therapists on staff for our patient’s convenience.

Dr. Hediger wanted to become a chiropractor because of his own experience with his family chiropractor who treated him and his siblings form a young age.  Dr. Craig especially benefited from his treatments after experiencing seizures as a toddler.  All of Dr. Hediger’ siblings become chiropractors. His two brothers are Alaska doctors and his sister Kim, practices in New Jersey.

Dr. Craig became a chiropractor in 1981 after graduating from New your Chiropractic College.  He left New York and all the traffic for the lure of Alaska.  After practicing at various clinics in Anchorage and Kodiak, Dr. Hediger choose Wasilla to open his own clinic in 1985.
He and his wife Kathy, are the proud parents of three children, Kelsey, Chris and Courtney.  The family enjoys camping, fishing and hanging out with their pets.

Dr. Hediger loves what he does for a living but it is also his hobby and passion.  There is nothing that inspires him more than when a patient leaves his office feeling better than when they came in.

Meet the Staff

Kim

Kim is Wasilla Chiropractic Clinic’s insurance and billing specialist, she is happy to answer any insurance or billing questions you may have. Kim, and her husband Doug, moved to Alaska in May 2014 from Reno, joining their son and daughter in law who had moved here previously. Kim and Doug met through mutual friends and have been married for 43 years, with 3 children and 7 wonderful grandkids. In her spare time, Kim loves to go fishing, but when she is not able to get out, she enjoys sewing, baking and scrapbooking.

Callie


Callie is Wasilla Chiropractic Clinic’s office assistant, she is normally the first face you will see while entering the clinic. Callie moved to Alaska in September from a small town in Minnesota. She moved to Alaska to live with her oldest sister and to spend more time with her nieces and nephew, and for a change in scenery! Callie enjoys spending time outside, reading, fishing and anything that has to do with her black lab, Lucie! She is adjusting to the Alaskan life well and is excited to get out and explore Alaska!
